The personal ministry of Dawn M. Littlefield, O.M., ordained minister of the Universal Life Church. Weddings, blessings, and goodbyes, offered to people of every faith and of none, in and around Borrego Springs, California.
Some work belongs to one pillar. This work belongs to all of them, so it lives at the open center, where anyone can walk in. Dawn was ordained through the Universal Life Church Monastery, whose single doctrine is to do only that which is right. She does not preach a religion. She shows up, with steady hands and kind words, for the moments a life turns on.
This ministry is Dawn’s own, offered personally. It is not a program of Aiding Rejuvenation 4 Kommunities Inc, and no donation to the nonprofit pays for it. If a fee is ever agreed for a ceremony, it is agreed with Dawn herself, plainly and in advance.
What the center offers
WEDDINGS & HANDFASTINGS
Vows spoken your way: in the desert, a garden, or your own backyard. Legal, personal, and unhurried. California couples bring their county marriage license; Dawn handles the words and the signing.
PET BLESSINGS
For the ones who greet us at the door. Dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and every beloved animal between. Each blessed pet goes home with a printed Certificate of Pet Blessing.
HOUSE BLESSINGS
A new home, a fresh start, a hard year ended. A threshold crossed kindly, room by room.
BUSINESS BLESSINGS
Open your doors with intention. Shops, ranches, studios, food stands, and workplaces of every kind, blessed at their beginning or their new beginning.
GARDEN BLESSINGS
For land being brought back to life, and the people bringing it. New beds, new wells, new orchards, and ground that has waited a long time to be loved again.
