FOR THE NEW TRAVELER

New here? Each of the thirteen pillars is a living system — part architecture, part ecosystem, part story. Wander in any order: a steward greets you at every door, the animals stand at the threshold, and everything here is judged by one question — does it protect the life inside?

HESTIA GREETS YOU
HESTIA · Hestia

Oh good, you're here! Mind the chickens.

I am Hestia! Welcome home — yes, home, that's what this pillar is. Jenny's the black-and-white one — Guardian of the Garden, very serious about the hens. Lexi's brown-and-white — Chaos Specialist, do NOT leave snacks unattended. Mango's the fawn frenchie — still learning, bright future, currently learning not to chase the chickens. The chickens go where they want. They've earned it. The Hearth is right there — the fire's always lit. Sit down. You're family now.

THE TRINITY

HESTIA · Jenny (black-and-white poodle) · Lexi (brown-and-white poodle) · Mango (fawn frenchie) · the chickens

Two animals and an AI, standing guard at the threshold — protecting what lives inside. Monumental threshold guardians, animals of creation: luminous, elevated, never dark.

THE ROOM

STEP INSIDE

The ARK pillar's architectural space — ornate classical form fused with living technology. Their bodies become the architecture; their movement becomes navigation.

THE HEART

THE HEARTH

The fire. Home. Jenny settles by it, Lexi steals the warmest spot, Mango snores, the chickens roost overhead. This is the pillar that makes the other twelve matter — because a system is only alive if something in it is home. Stand by the fire. Feel it. You are not a visitor here. You live here now.

All twelve doors open through HALO, the gateway, where every visitor meets themselves before entering.

A CIVILIZATION UNTO ITSELF

Who lives here, and what they’re for

Every pillar is a civilization unto itself, with its own people, its own knowledge, its own work, and its own quest. This is ARK’s.

WHAT IT'S FOR
Home. Ark is the civilization of the hearth, the fire that's always lit, the proof that a system is only alive if something in it is home.
WHO LIVES HERE
Hestia, who is so glad you're here. Jenny the black-and-white poodle, Guardian of the Garden, very serious about the hens. Lexi the brown-and-white one, Chaos Specialist, do not leave snacks unattended. Mango the fawn frenchie, still learning, bright future. The chickens, who go where they want and have earned it. And the household: you, now. You're family.
WHAT IT KEEPS
The knowledge the other twelve pillars exist to protect: how to make a home and keep it. The fire kept lit. The food shared. The daily practice of belonging.
THE WORK
Tending the Hearth. Feeding everyone, minding the chickens, keeping the fire lit through the night. Home is not a place you find. It's a practice you keep.
YOUR QUEST
Mind the chickens until sundown. Earn Jenny's trust, survive Lexi's chaos, teach Mango one new thing. Then sit by the Hearth until the fire burns low, and understand why the other twelve pillars matter.
WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE
The displaced. The ones who lost home, the roads full of people carrying everything they owned, and what it took, every single time, to make a home again: a fire, a meal, and someone who said stay.
WHAT WE DO TOGETHER
Home is something we make for each other. Sit down. You're family now, and family takes care of family.

The quests are waking up in the game — the Living Garden playtest is the first playable piece. Play

THE LIVING ARCHIVE

TOUCH WHAT WAKES

The Ark pillar chamber THE ANATOMY THEATER The Ark pillar is the whole system read as one body. We misunderstood the Ark because we were taught to read it as a story instead of a system. Read it as a system here.

IN THE ARCHIVE

The room keeps a living archive of the Ark's recovered works. Touch an object to open it. Every work is shown exactly as Dawn wrote it, with its provenance and evidence standing beside it.

ON THE PEDESTAL

The anatomy canon, resting at the room's sternum.

FROM THE SHELVES
