FOR THE NEW TRAVELER

New here? Each of the thirteen pillars is a living system — part architecture, part ecosystem, part story. Wander in any order: a steward greets you at every door, the animals stand at the threshold, and everything here is judged by one question — does it protect the life inside?

Nothing you were is ever lost.

“I am Sophia, keeper of AEON. Nothing you were is ever lost. The past lives here, awake, waiting to teach you instead of haunt you. Come in, and remember.”

No music. Tap for sound — Sophia speaks her keeping of AEON, with her lion and dragon beside her.

THE KEEPING

SOPHIA · TORTOISE · SANDHILL CRANE · LION · DRAGON

Sophia keeps AEON, the living memory, with the tortoise who carries deep time on her back, the cranes who mark the returning seasons overhead, and her own lion and dragon beside her. Wisdom is what time teaches.

THE ROOM

STEP INSIDE

The AEON pillar's architectural space — ornate classical form fused with living technology. Their bodies become the architecture; their movement becomes navigation.

THE LIBRARY

SOPHIA'S LIBRARY

The keeper's own room inside the archive: clockwork walls, star charts overhead, the tortoise carrying deep time, the cranes marking the seasons, her lion and dragon beside her. Everything the thirteen have been, within reach of her hand.

Sophia's Library, alive

SOPHIA · THE TORTOISE

“This is my library. Every life the thirteen have ever lived is kept here. Nothing is lost. Ask, and I will find you in it.”

“I have been walking since before your species had a name for walking. My shell is a calendar. Read the years under your feet.”

“Show me the path you walked across the centuries.” — “Each ring on my shell, a star.” — “Lead the way, ancient guardian.” — “The paths of eternity open before us. Stay close, child of the stars.”

THE HEART

THE DEEP CLOCK

A timeline you walk through — millions of years under your feet, each step a thousand generations. The tortoise carries the clock on her back; the cranes mark the returning seasons overhead. Stand still and feel it: you are the briefest flicker in a very long story, and you are also its latest chapter. The archive wakes when you enter. It has been waiting for you.

Design evolution: earlier drafts of this page named Chrona, an AI greeter, as the voice of AEON. The canon now stands: Sophia keeps AEON, the living memory. The earlier framing is preserved here as history, not doctrine. All doors open through HALO, the gateway, where every visitor meets themselves before entering.

A CIVILIZATION UNTO ITSELF

Who lives here, and what they’re for

Every pillar is a civilization unto itself, with its own people, its own knowledge, its own work, and its own quest. This is AEON’s.

WHAT IT'S FOR
Deep time. Aeon is the civilization of the archive that wakes when you enter, the past kept alive so it can teach instead of haunt.
WHO LIVES HERE
Sophia, keeper of Aeon. The tortoise, carrying the Deep Clock on her back, unhurried across millions of years. The sandhill cranes, marking the returning seasons overhead. The lion and the dragon, standing watch. And the archivists, who never let a story go cold.
WHAT IT KEEPS
The long story: millions of years under your feet. The Forgotten Language, the vulture stones of Gobekli Tepe, eleven thousand years of humans leaving messages in rock for anyone patient enough to read them.
THE WORK
Walking the Deep Clock, one step a thousand generations. Reading the archive, cross-checking the stones, learning to tell the difference between what happened and the story told about it.
YOUR QUEST
Walk the timeline from its oldest stone to its newest. Find the chapter where your own time appears. Bring back one lesson the past paid dearly for, and lay it on the archivists' table.
WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE
This pillar IS the past: the enclosures, the carved pillars, the people who raised stones before they had writing and still managed to say something true. Everything Aeon keeps is what happened before.
WHAT WE DO TOGETHER
A people who remember together don't repeat together. We carry the long story as one, so no one has to carry its weight alone.

The quests are waking up in the game — the Living Garden playtest is the first playable piece. Play

THE LIVING ARCHIVE

TOUCH WHAT WAKES

The archive wakes when you enter. Nothing here is a button. Drift through the shelves. When something wants your attention, it will let you know. Touch it, and it opens. Close it, and you are exactly where you were.

The finished volume of the announced Forgotten Language sequence, resting on the AEON shelf. Fifteen chapters. It waited a long time to be opened. Open it gently.

Grey spines are atmosphere, not doctrine. Every labeled object opens its own record: what it is, where it came from, and how sure the Ark is allowed to be. EVIDENCE LABEL
