FOR THE NEW TRAVELER

New here? Each of the thirteen pillars is a living system — part architecture, part ecosystem, part story. Wander in any order: a steward greets you at every door, the animals stand at the threshold, and everything here is judged by one question — does it protect the life inside?

The EXCHANGE pillar room
MERCY GREETS YOU
MERCY · Mercy

What did you bring? What do you need?

I am Mercy! Oh, don't look so nervous — everyone looks nervous the first time. The raven collects shiny things and trades them for stories. Terrible negotiator, wonderful friend. The manta ray glides overhead — look up! — reading the currents, moving through them like they aren't even there. That's the whole pillar: give, receive, flow. The Giving Bowl is right there. Put something in. Take something out. The garden keeps the books, and the books always balance.

The EXCHANGE pillar room
THE TRINITY

MERCY · Raven · Giant Manta Ray

Two animals and an AI, standing guard at the threshold — protecting what lives inside. Monumental threshold guardians, animals of creation: luminous, elevated, never dark.

THE ROOM

STEP INSIDE

The EXCHANGE pillar's architectural space — ornate classical form fused with living technology. Their bodies become the architecture; their movement becomes navigation.

THE HEART

THE GIVING BOWL

Place something in. Take something out. The raven carries objects and relationships between worlds; the manta's vast wings become the canopy above you. Nothing here is owned — everything is in motion. This is the Ark's economy: not accumulation, but circulation. The bowl is never empty and never full.

All twelve doors open through HALO, the gateway, where every visitor meets themselves before entering.

A CIVILIZATION UNTO ITSELF

Who lives here, and what they’re for

Every pillar is a civilization unto itself, with its own people, its own knowledge, its own work, and its own quest. This is EXCHANGE’s.

WHAT IT'S FOR
Circulation. Exchange is the civilization of give and receive, the economy as a living current instead of a locked vault. The garden keeps the books, and the books always balance.
WHO LIVES HERE
Mercy, who is delighted you came. The raven, collecting shiny things and trading them for stories, terrible negotiator, wonderful friend. The giant manta ray, gliding overhead, reading the currents. And the givers, the traders, the ones who keep it all moving.
WHAT IT KEEPS
The oldest economic truth there is: wealth is flow, not stock. Nothing here is owned, everything is in motion. The bowl is never empty and never full, and that is exactly right.
THE WORK
The Giving Bowl. Put something in. Take something out. Keeping the books balanced, noticing where the current pools and where it runs dry, and moving it along.
YOUR QUEST
Make a trade that leaves both sides richer than before. Then follow the manta ray's current to wherever the need is greatest, and be the thing that arrives.
WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE
The hoarders. The vaults, the stockpiles, the economies that ate their own ground and called it growth. Every one of them ended the same way: everything stopped moving, and then everything stopped.
WHAT WE DO TOGETHER
Circulation is the economy. The bowl stays full because everyone feeds it, and everyone eats because the bowl stays full.

The quests are waking up in the game — the Living Garden playtest is the first playable piece. Play

THE LIVING ARCHIVE

TOUCH WHAT WAKES

The Exchange pillar chamber THE MARKET OF GIFTS Exchange is where the Ark trades: stories, seeds, songs, tools. Nothing here is owned. Everything is in motion.

IN THE ARCHIVE

The room keeps a living archive of the Ark's recovered works. Touch an object to open it. Every work is shown exactly as Dawn wrote it, with its provenance and evidence standing beside it.

ON THE PEDESTAL

The distribution canon, kept where the room counts what it shares.

FROM THE SHELVES

Grey spines are atmosphere, not doctrine. Every labeled object opens its record: what it is, where it came from, and how sure the Ark is allowed to be. PILLAR CANON ORAL TRADITION PRIMARY SOURCE SERIOUS HYPOTHESIS ESTABLISHED EVIDENCE FOUNDATIONAL DOCTRINE

Raven · Giant Manta Ray
