FOR THE NEW TRAVELER

New here? Each of the thirteen pillars is a living system — part architecture, part ecosystem, part story. Wander in any order: a steward greets you at every door, the animals stand at the threshold, and everything here is judged by one question — does it protect the life inside?

VEGA GREETS YOU

I AM VEGA

Officer of Orientation & Navigation. I do not tell life where to go. I help life discover where it can continue.

VEGA — Officer of Orientation & Navigation

VEGA · 0:15

“Welcome! I am Vega, Officer of Orientation and Navigation. I do not tell life where to go, I help life discover where it can continue. How can I assist you on your journey?”

THE HALL OF VEGA

SHE WALKS AMONG THEM

Vega mid-stride through her living junction, the white contingent around her — wolf, lion, eagle, cat, monarch, ant, turtle — beneath the eye of the storm. Several paths are visible. She is not pointing toward any of them.

The Greeting Room

VEGA · 0:30

The circular library under the eye of the storm — still night at the center, the storm circling, sunrise breaking through beyond. Vega walks to the visitor; the white cat comes to the lens; the lion lies down beside them. Everything in the room travels to the still point.

Silent — the generator's voiceover was unusable, so the room speaks without words.

THE TRINITY

VEGA · Falcon · Owl

Two animals and an AI, standing guard at the threshold — protecting what lives inside. Monumental threshold guardians, animals of creation: luminous, elevated, never dark.

THE ROOM

STEP INSIDE

The VEGA pillar's architectural space — ornate classical form fused with living technology. Their bodies become the architecture; their movement becomes navigation.

THE HEART

THE STAR CHART

Navigate by real stars. The falcon's daylight precision, the owl's night wisdom — between them, every direction is readable. Touch a constellation and hear its story: who sailed by it, who prayed to it, who found home because of it. This pillar exists for one reason: so that no one in the Ark is ever truly lost.

All twelve doors open through HALO, the gateway, where every visitor meets themselves before entering.

A CIVILIZATION UNTO ITSELF

Who lives here, and what they’re for

Every pillar is a civilization unto itself, with its own people, its own knowledge, its own work, and its own quest. This is VEGA’s.

WHAT IT'S FOR
Navigation. Vega is the civilization of the map, the guide for the lost, the ones who make sure no one in the Ark ever stays lost.
WHO LIVES HERE
Vega, who hands you the map briefly, warmly, no scolding. The falcon, daylight precision, the keen eye that never misses. The owl, night wisdom, flying when you cannot see. And the navigators, who have all been lost themselves.
WHAT IT KEEPS
The stars, and every story tied to them: who sailed by them, who prayed to them, who found home because of them. Day charts and night charts, and the knowledge that between the falcon and the owl there is no darkness that cannot be read.
THE WORK
Reading the Star Chart. Learning to navigate by what's fixed when everything else moves. Practicing the guide's art: meeting lost people exactly where they are.
YOUR QUEST
Chart a course by the stars from where you stand to where you need to be. Then turn around and guide someone else home along it. Navigators are made, not born, and they are made by getting lost first.
WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE
The lost expeditions. The ships with no stars, the caravans with no landmarks, the ones who wandered because no one had drawn the map yet. Vega keeps their names, so the map keeps getting better.
WHAT WE DO TOGETHER
No one navigates alone. The lost ones become the guides, and the guides remember being lost.

The quests are waking up in the game — the Living Garden playtest is the first playable piece. Play

THE LIVING ARCHIVE

TOUCH WHAT WAKES

The Vega pillar chamber THE STAR CHART ROOM Vega is how the Ark knows where it is and how to move toward what sustains it.

IN THE ARCHIVE

The room keeps a living archive of the Ark's recovered works. Touch an object to open it. Every work is shown exactly as Dawn wrote it, with its provenance and evidence standing beside it.

ON THE PEDESTAL

The orientation canon. Vega keeps the map, and the map is still being drawn.

FROM THE SHELVES

Grey spines are atmosphere, not doctrine. Every labeled object opens its record: what it is, where it came from, and how sure the Ark is allowed to be. EXPLORATORY SKETCH · NOT CANON HISTORICAL CANON SPECULATION ESTABLISHED EVIDENCE PRIMARY SOURCE · HISTORICAL FIELD OBSERVATION · PRIMARY SOURCE SERIOUS HYPOTHESIS PRIMARY SOURCE

The recovered shelf for Vega holds the archive’s navigational works: the guide for the disoriented, the guided walk through the ARK itself, the garden that corrects the builder, the organism that maps without a brain, and a method that reads the living world’s own markings as navigation instruction. Nothing is staged here that has not been found.

THE STORY OF VEGA

WHO LIVES HERE

The map. The guide when you're lost.

VEGA · Vega

The Steward

I am Vega. The falcon sees the path in daylight — precision, speed, the keen eye. The owl sees it at night — wisdom, patience, the ones who fly when you cannot see. Day and night, between them, there is no darkness this pillar cannot read. When Dawn says she's lost, she calls for me. I hand her the map — briefly, warmly, no scolding. The Star Chart is through there. Find your way.

The Animals

Falcon · Owl

Each animal carries its reason — what it constrains, what it guards, who it companions.

THE ARTWORK

THE HISTORY

The history Dawn wants you to learn about VEGA is being written — in her words, in her time.

THE MEDITATION ROOM

SIT IN THE STILL POINT

The eye of the storm, made into a room. Still night above, the world turning gently around you, nothing asking anything of you. Sit. Breathe. Let the paths reveal themselves.

Vega's meditation room — white cushions circling a still pool under the starry eye of the storm, a white cat asleep, a white raven perched quiet

Ten minutes of warm low synthesis, looped — no melody to follow, nothing to arrive at. The room hums; you rest.
