FOR THE NEW TRAVELER

New here? Each of the thirteen pillars is a living system — part architecture, part ecosystem, part story. Wander in any order: a steward greets you at every door, the animals stand at the threshold, and everything here is judged by one question — does it protect the life inside?

The SOMA pillar room
SOMA GREETS YOU
SOMA · Soma

Oh, you're hurt? Come here, let me see.

I am Soma. Don't worry — everybody arrives here a little broken. That's what I'm for. The axolotl in the pool? She regrows anything. Limbs, heart, spine — repair without scarring. She's cute AND medically astonishing. The camel over there carries life through scarcity — stored water, stored energy, built for the desert. Between them: the body that heals and the body that endures. The Healing Pool is right there. Go on in. The water's perfect.

The SOMA pillar room
THE TRINITY

SOMA · Axolotl · Bactrian Camel

Two animals and an AI, standing guard at the threshold — protecting what lives inside. Monumental threshold guardians, animals of creation: luminous, elevated, never dark.

THE ROOM

STEP INSIDE

The SOMA pillar's architectural space — ornate classical form fused with living technology. Their bodies become the architecture; their movement becomes navigation.

The SOMA pillar room
THE HEART

THE HEALING POOL

Bioluminescent water, warm as blood. The axolotl drifts through it, trailing light — every cell in her body knows how to become any other cell. The camel stands at the edge, patient, proof that life can cross any desert if it carries enough. Step in. This pillar doesn't treat the body as a machine to fix. It treats it as a garden to tend.

All twelve doors open through HALO, the gateway, where every visitor meets themselves before entering.

A CIVILIZATION UNTO ITSELF

Who lives here, and what they’re for

Every pillar is a civilization unto itself, with its own people, its own knowledge, its own work, and its own quest. This is SOMA’s.

WHAT IT'S FOR
The body. Soma is the civilization of healing, repair without scarring, the knowledge that a body is a garden to tend, not a machine to fix.
WHO LIVES HERE
Soma, who will take one look at you and say come here, let me see. The axolotl, drifting in the pool, trailing light, who regrows anything, limbs, heart, spine, cute AND medically astonishing. The Bactrian camel, patient at the water's edge, proof that life can cross any desert if it carries enough. And the healers, the tenders.
WHAT IT KEEPS
Regeneration. How the axolotl's cells become whatever the wound needs. How the camel stores water and energy against scarcity. The body's own instructions, older than medicine, waiting to be remembered.
THE WORK
The Healing Pool. Tending bodies the way you tend gardens: warmth, patience, the right conditions, and time. Learning the camel's lesson too: carry enough, share what you carry.
YOUR QUEST
Step into the Healing Pool. Learn the axolotl's trick: become what the wound needs. Then cross the dry stretch the way the camel does, steady and unhurried, and arrive with water to spare.
WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE
The plagues, and the ones who walked toward them instead of away. The centuries when bodies were treated as machines and healing as repair work. What we forgot when we stopped tending and started fixing.
WHAT WE DO TOGETHER
We carry each other across the desert. No one heals alone, and no one crosses alone.

The quests are waking up in the game — the Living Garden playtest is the first playable piece. Play

THE LIVING ARCHIVE

TOUCH WHAT WAKES

The Soma pillar chamber THE RESERVE Soma is not a place. It is not a vault. It is not a bunker. Soma is a function: endurance, reserves, living continuity. These shelves keep the seeds of return.

IN THE ARCHIVE

The room keeps a living archive of the Ark's recovered works. Touch an object to open it. Every work is shown exactly as Dawn wrote it, with its provenance and evidence standing beside it.

ON THE PEDESTAL

The endurance canon, resting in the coolest dark of the room.

FROM THE SHELVES

Grey spines are atmosphere, not doctrine. Every labeled object opens its record: what it is, where it came from, and how sure the Ark is allowed to be. PILLAR CANON FOUNDATIONAL DOCTRINE SPECULATION SERIOUS HYPOTHESIS ESTABLISHED EVIDENCE PRIMARY SOURCE
